Montreal architect Henry Tsang selected as Canadian National Leader for the 29th edition

“Dr. Henry Tsang, architect and educator, was selected to represent Canada as a national leader in the 2017 Next Generation Global Leaders forum, also known as the Ship for World Youth Leaders, hosted by the Government of Japan and supported by the United Nations. 240 young leaders from 11 countries were invited to Tokyo in January to exchange on global issues, leadership and culture.

Together, they traveled for 40 days on a ship called the Nippon Maru to Vanuatu, Fiji, Solomon Islands and New Zealand visiting influential organizations and meeting world leaders, including the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, the Crown Prince of Japan, Naruhito, the President of Fiji, George Konrote and the Prime Minister of Fiji and COP23 president, Frank Bainimarama. As a speaker, Henry addressed the topics of “Green Building” and “Creative Leadership”.

Henry Tsang, architect OAQ, MRAIC, is from Montreal and is currently based in Asia as an invited professor at Keimyung University Department of Architectural Engineering in South Korea, and the 2016 Design Professor Awardee by the Korea Digital Architecture and Interior Association. He is also an academic expert for the RAIC Centre for Architecture at Athabasca University.”
