Prof. Ipek Türeli and her students in the studio course Design and Construction 2 invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Amal: The Resilient School.” Amal, hope in Arabic, is an elementary school for traumatized Syrian refugee children in Turkey. This exhibition showcases the students’ propositions on how educational buildings and school architecture can respond to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

This event seeks to support the fundraising efforts of the Syrian Kids Foundation’s Al-Salam School in Reyhanlı, Turkey (syriankids.ca). Donors will receive a complimentary copy of the exhibition catalogue.”
