58th Awards of Excellence | Submissions open for architects and photographers!

« The Canadian Architect Awards of Excellence are open for submissions. This year’s deadline is Friday, September 12, 2025.

For 57 years, the magazine’s national awards have recognized design excellence in future projects. Projects entered into the Awards of Excellence must be either (a) in the design stage, (b) scheduled for construction, or (c) under construction but not substantially complete by September 12, 2025. All projects must be commissioned by a client with the intention to build the submitted proposal. All building types and concisely presented urban design schemes are eligible.

This year’s competition also includes the Canadian Architect Photo Awards of Excellence and the Canadian Architect Student Photo Awards of Excellence. The awards recognize the best images of Canadian buildings, taken in the past two years. »
