“On behalf of the organising committee, it is my pleasure to invite you to join us for the upcoming Brenda & Samuel Gewurz Lecture in Urban Design on Monday the 31st of March at 18h in Room G10 of the Macdonald-Harrington Building. We are delighted to have Andrea Gabor FCIP – a graduate of the School of Urban Planning – as our featured speaker. This is a public lecture; all are welcome.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER – ANDREA GABOR, Partner, Urban Strategies: Urban designer and planner Andrea Gabor is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and the current Chair of the Planning committee of the Metro Toronto Board of Trade. A McGill graduate, she has coordinated many large-scale projects across Canada and the U.S. and abroad. Among the many recognitions for her work are an American Planning Association Outstanding Project Award for the comprehensive downtown plan for historic Charleston (South Carolina) and a CIP Award of Excellence for the Lower Don Valley Regeneration Plan for the regeneration of industrial lands in Sheffield (U.K.).”
