Excerpt from press release:

AIR CANADA’S ENROUTE MAGAZINE, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH INTERIOR DESIGNERS OF CANADA, ARCHITECTURE CANADA | RAIC AND IIDEX CANADA, ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF THE 2013 AIR CANADA ENROUTE HOTEL DESIGN AWARDS

Montreal, August 29, 2013 — The Air Canada enRoute Hotel Design Awards celebrate the best Canadian-designed hotels around the world. The award-winning projects show that no matter where you go, Canadian interior designers and architects are there to make you feel at home.

Air Canada’s enRoute, in partnership with Interior Designers of Canada, Architecture Canada | RAIC and IIDEX Canada, invited Canadian architects and interior designers to submit new and extensively renovated hotels completed between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2012.

To recognize the Canadian architects and interior designers who make our stays memorable, enRoute assembled an international panel of judges to award prizes in 11 categories. This year’s panel included novelist and visual artist Douglas Coupland; French industrial designer Matali Crasset; Maxwell Ryan, co-founder of popular design website Apartment Therapy; and hospitality designer Adam D. Tihany. On your next vacation, you may never want to leave the hotel.
