Jan Kaplický (1937-2009)

“Czech-born architect Jan Kaplický, best known for his sensuous, high-tech buildings, died yesterday [January 15 2009] at the age of 71, only hours after his wife gave birth. Kaplický moved to the UK in 1968 and collaborated with Richard Rogers, Norman Foster and Renzo Piano, setting up the Future Systems practice in 1979.”
