World’s Coolest Offices 2011 sponsored by Autodesk® is about connecting designers with the world’s entrepreneurs. That’s why Architizer has teamed up with Inc.com to showcase the top 25 projects in a huge editorial spread on Inc.com. The award is a way to show the business world how intelligent design and innovative space planning can create a workplace that is more than a sum of its parts. So come on designers! Help Architizer and Inc.com hook up businesses around the world with talented designers.
One winner, the World’s Coolest in our opinion, will take home $2,000, a souped-up iPad with amazing Autodesk® apps, and 15 Poppin desk makeovers for your own office. An additional 24 offices will be put in an Inc.com editorial highlighting the coolest designs for their readership of entrepreneurs and business-savvy individuals.
Office design in the creative age is as much about branding and creating an innovative atmosphere as it is about workstations and efficiency. Company culture finds its physical manifestation in the workplaces of today’s most forward thinking outfits. Firms small and large are tapping design talents to outfit their workspaces, and we’d like to see proof. Enter the World’s Coolest Offices 2011 and tell us what makes your space so innovative.
Eligibility
Any office or workspace designed within the last five years. (Preference is given to built work, but conceptual work will also be considered.) There is no requirement that the entry be designed by an architect – if you are an amateur designer you can have your hand at entering as well. If you submitted last year, but did not win a prize you are eligible to resubmit.”
